I wrote this song about the way I feel about our audiences and the people I meet at concerts, so it was always great to sing this song directly to them either live solo or with the band. – danh

Sad Fact #3

A friend and mentor of mine passed away recently, Tom Tucker. He was the engineer in my first professional studio recording project, “Alabaster” and also engineered this album. This was Toms favorite song on the album and he thought it had the best shot as a single. When we first recorded together he told me the story about how he was trying to choose between the working in the music business, or becoming a Priest. I think he chose well for himself and I will dedicate the song Priest to his memory on the new project. He always encouraged me to keep making music no matter what cuz he told me that I was a true artist. Thank you Tom, I never got the chance to tell you how much that meant to me as a struggling young musician.
